Our all-levels BJJ class allows students of any skill level to learn more advanced moves and techniques. This class focuses heavily on positions, transitions, and submissions. The lesson is normally followed by an opportunity to spar to put new skills into practice and allow students to work on their techniques.
Even the greatest fighters started from the beginning. Our fundamentals class introduces students to the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Students will learn techniques that can be used in self defense as well as sport Jiu Jitsu such as take downs, sweeps, transitions, and more. The basics are critical to developing a solid understanding of Jiu Jitsu. This class is highly recommended for newcomers and all levels are encouraged to revisit their basics in these sessions.
Our kids’ classes provide children ages 5 and up with an environment that allows them to experience and understand core values like focus, discipline, persistence, cooperation and respect. And, as a contact sport, BJJ provides a very challenging yet safe and caring environment for a child to mature and grow as jiu jitsu lessons often go far beyond the accomplishments on the mats.
Our kids BJJ competition class is a specialized class for young students, typically ages 8-13, that focuses on preparing them for competitive Jiu-Jitsu. These classes build upon fundamental BJJ skills and techniques, introducing more advanced strategies and drills, as well as developing a more balanced and complete grappling game. Invitation only or admission requirements met. Minimum requirements are at least a year of BJJ or grappling (wrestling included) experience and age 8 and up. Coaches may determine eligibility.
An exciting and dynamic martial art that requires both physical strength and mental discipline. Engaging in judo fosters teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence. Judo is a grappling martial art where you’re throwing and pinning your partner. There is no striking in Judo. It is great for learning to fight in close range grappling against a fully resisting opponent with maximum efficiency and minimal relative effort.
Step into the ring and discover the “sweet science” of boxing. This class goes beyond just a workout; it’s a journey into the sport and art of boxing. Fundamental techniques, including proper stance, footwork, and basic punches like jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts, will be taught. Strategic aspects of boxing will be covered, with a focus on offensive and defensive techniques, ring movement, and fight strategy. Through drills and pad work, precision, power, and timing will be refined. This class provides a strong foundation for both fitness and skill development, empowering participants to move with greater confidence and purpose.
