Revolution BJJ’s Holiday Gift Guide 2024

Finding the perfect gift for everyone in your life can sometimes feel like navigating a complicated guard position. Whether it’s for your mom, dad, grandma, or other, this guide will help you find gifts that are as great as the counters you think of hours after class.

1. Mom

Your mom deserves the number one spot on this list and your number one gift. And what is that?
A Revolution gym bag. To remind her of the good ole days of carrying all your stuff to practice when you were younger. When all you could offer her for Christmas was macaroni noodle art. But now, you can give her a premium nylon and polyester, better-than-a-luxury-purse gym bag. Each bag is meticulously crafted, probably taking hours, days, or possibly even weeks to create. Expert artisans pour their skills into every stitch, ensuring that these bags not only look exquisite but also withstand the test of time and use. Revolution’s gym bag features zippers and pockets and carrying straps. Prominently displayed across the front is a professionally embroidered logo and reminder of Revolution BJJ’s motto, “The obstacle becomes the way.” Failing to gift this treasure to your mother is a failure indeed.

2. Dad

Shopping for Dad is notoriously difficult. He already has everything or wants nothing. Finding the perfect gift can be challenging, whether you are honoring your father, grandfather, or  another father figure in your life. Look no further than Revolution BJJ. Get him a shirt, but not just any shirt, a shirt fit for literally any occasion. A Revolution BJJ rashguard. Heading into town for some errands? Rev BJJ rashguard. Date night at the Pump House? Rev BJJ rashguard. Clearing the driveway, again? Rev BJJ rashguard. Taking slack-jawed, OSA-concerning naps on the couch? Rev BJJ rashguard.

3. Significant Other

How could you possibly get a single item to show the love you feel for your significant other? Whether you’ve been dating for a few months or married for years, it’s understandable if you have no idea what to get your partner. Wanting to find a gift as special as they are can feel a little daunting. Thankfully you do jiu jitsu. Get them a hoodie. A Revolution BJJ hoodie. Perfect for cold Alaskan days and even colder Alaskan nights. He or she would love to sport this hoodie in their next INSERT HOBBY meetup. Plus, if you get a large enough size, you can both wear it.

4. Kids

They’ve asked for toys, tablets, digital games, and a skibidi thing you don’t really understand. Their list? Garbage. Ignore it. You’re getting them something even better than a low taper fade. A Revolution BJJ membership. If you’re training BJJ, then your kids should too. Fortunately, Revolution has kids classes Wednesday and Friday evenings perfectly timed after school ends and well before bedtime and on Saturday mornings to help burn some weekend energy. Come to one or all of the available class times to give your kids the best day ever.

5. Grandmother

What do grandparents love most? No, not low priced buffets at casinos. Their grandkids. That’s you. And as a grandkid, you can provide the best gift for a Nana who just wants to brag about her grandkid. A keychain of your belt in BJJ. Picture it. She’s seated at the mahjong or bingo table and plops her 10lb ring of keys on the table. Your INSERT COLOR belt keychain stands out amongst the “Best Meemaw Ever” and acrylic encased school pictures of you and all your cousins. The others at the table are compelled to ask, “What’s that?” It’s all your grandmother ever wanted.

6. Co-worker

Every year we’re obligated to bring something to the annual white elephant or secret santa gift exchange. Every year, we watch the usual candles, soft blankets, and gift cards get passed around. This year, bring something special. A gi from Revolution BJJ. “Ok, but there’s a $25 limit this year.” Bah humbug on your limits. Should you limit the spread of your holiday cheer and consequential sharing of your favorite sport? The recipient of this gift will undoubtedly seek out BJJ classes and inevitably fall in love with the sport and, of course, become a new training partner for you. Win-win.
